Step by Step - Using CityZoom

Descriptions

1. Click Audio to speak. People will hear you. Click Audio again to turn your audio off (no sound). It has a red line through it. 
2. Click Video to show your face. Click Video again to stop showing your face. It has a red line through it.
3. Click Participants to see a list of all the people in the CityZoom meeting.
4. Click Chat to write messages to your teacher, a student, or everyone in the class.
5. Click React to: raise your hand, say yes (green check mark), say no (red circle with an X) ask people to slow down (two back arrows), ask people speed up (two forward arrows), or tell people you are away from the meeting (coffee cup).
6. Click Share Screen to share your screen with the class. Your teacher may not have this enabled (to make it so you can so it) for the class.
7. Click AI Companion to get help with AI.
   
8. Click More to see more features. You can click on Captions to see the captions (words) on the screen as people are talking if your teacher has enabled it.
9. Click End (for the person hosting the meeting, like your teacher in your class) or Leave (for guests, like you and your classmates) to leave the meeting.

Zoom Controls on a Phone

Descriptions

9. Click More to see more features.
10. Click End (for the person hosting the meeting, like your teacher in your class) or Leave (for guests, like you and your classmates) to leave the meeting.

More, Captions, and React/Reactions

In the CityZoom (Zoom) menu on your computer, you will see the Chat window. Do the following.

1. Click Chat to open the Chat. Click the More button if you don't see the Chat button.
2. Select Everyone from the blue menu to send a message to everyone in the meeting. You can click on the little arrow to find the name of the person if you only want to send a message to your teacher or ONE classmate.
3. Write your message in Type your message here.
4. Click Format (The 'T' plus a pencil) to help you format with different letters, etc.
5. Click the Smiley face emoji to add an emoji to your chat message.
6. Click File to add a file.
7. Click the box+ to take a screenshot of your computer desktop.
8. You can click the Arrow or Enter/Return on your keyboard to send the chat message.

In the CityZoom (Zoom) menu on your phone, you will see the Chat window. Do the following. 

• If you don't see a control (e.g. Chat), click More (the 3 dots) to find it.

• Click on React to:

  • raise your hand

  • say yes (green check mark)

  • say no (red circle with an X)

  • ask people to slow down (two back arrows)

  • ask people speed up (two forward arrows)

  • tell people you are away from the meeting (coffee cup)
