CRN 72400 HLTH 80L - Interpreting Lab I

Course Information

HLTH 80L is a space for students to put into practice the interpreting skills, standards, protocols, and biomedical knowledge learned in HLTH 80C. In labs, students will focus on active listening, linguistic equivalency, vocabulary development, and managing the flow of the simulated interpreting encounters of health care and other settings.

Student Learning Outcomes

Apply linguistic equivalence in medical and everyday contexts.
Exhibit skills in managing basic to moderate levels of interpreting.
