Mid-Term Exam

Purpose

The purpose of this mid-term is to assess what you have learned so far in this class.

Quiz Instructions

This midterm exam includes 2 short essay, 1 terminology matching question, and 28 multiple choice and true-false questions.  You will have time and a half to complete the exam (75 minutes).  Once you begin the exam, you must finish it, so be sure you set aside at least 1 hour and 15 minutes of quiet and uninterrupted time.

This test assesses you knowledge and ability to meet the following course learning outcomes.

  1. Explain the difference between sexual orientation and gender identity.
  2. Describe effective strategies for building trust and relationships between the LGBTQ+ community and the justice system.
  3. Identify crime problems and effective justice system responses in the LGBTQ+ community.

You are not allowed to use notes, the Internet, or any books while taking the exam.  You are not allowed to discuss questions or share information about this test with anyone.  Obtaining or sharing test information is considered cheating and grounds for an immediate failure of the exam.
