Three Truths And A Lie About LGBTQ+ History

Purpose

Like most histories, there are many mythologies about the people and events that are part of LGBTQ+ history. This activity will give you a chance to see how much you know about some of the most significant historical events that have impacted the LGBTQ+ community. It is great introduction to the history we will be exploring in this module and the ones that follow.

Instructions

LGBTQ icons including Harvey Milk and Bayard Rustin

For each person or event, identify the three statements that are true by checking the box next to the statement. Immediately following each question, you will get feedback about what is true and what is false about the person or event. Pay close attention to the comments about why this person or event is important to law enforcement.
