⭐WARM-UP for 10/7 Field Day

Instructions for the FIELD TRIP WARM-UP ASSIGNMENT -- DAY 1

This assignment is designed to help you prepare for the field trip and the work you'll be doing there. The more effort you put into it, the more you'll learn during the field trip. It should take you 3 to 4 hours to complete.  Be sure you have first completed these lessons:

• San Francisco Bay Lesson 
• San Francisco Geology Lesson
• For a review and deeper dive into Plate Tectonics in general:
  • Plate Tectonics Basics Lesson
  • Plate Tectonics and California Geology Lesson  

This assignment is not timed, so you can take as long as you need. You can start and take time away and come back later to submit. It will not automatically submit when you close the page.

You may complete this assignment twice. After the first time you complete it, you will be able to review your score and which you got wrong. Your final grade for this assignment comes from the AVERAGE score from your two attempts, so be sure you put your best effort into your first attempt.

The answers to this assignment will be automatically released at 6 am the morning after the deadline. Please review those results before you come to the field trip, so you can ask any questions you have. (That is also the reason that no late assignments are accepted.)
