• Have been briefed, made aware of the hazards related to working in and around manufacturing machinery such as Lathes, Mills and Grinders, and have had the risks associated with CCSF's Fab-Shop explained to me
• Will watch out for hazardous conditions in the shop, in other's actions and in my own actions, and will politely address these situations when and if they occur by notifying the staff and/or the person who might be working in a hazardous manner
• If asked/notified by another, graciously accept suggestion of unsafe action I might be doing and thank the person for caring about me and my machinery
• Will not energize powered equipment without a "wingman" that can assist and call for help if the need arises
• Will treat the shop, others and the instructor with respect in order to maintain a stress-free and safe working environment
• Use caution and utilize available safety precautions associated with any action or machinery
• Will "sit one out" if too tired, stressed, frustrated or altered to work safely and effectively
