MADISON  is having a great year — she really liked her roommate, she was playing intramural soccer, and her classes were not too bad. But she had withdrew one Math class because she felt like she was in over her head. That left her with only nine units for the semester. She had not told her parents because she knew that they would be upset, but things had been going so much better since she was no longer dealing with the stress of that class. Madison did not check her school email very often, but when she did, she found several notices from the Financial Aid Office. Her financial aid package will be discontinued or placed on hold for the upcoming semester.
