The midterm exam is based on all the material that we have covered from the beginning of class to the Puerto Rican experience. The questions come from the different quizzes  and the discussion that you have done throughout the first half of the semester.

For this midterm you will only get to take it once and it will be timed. You have  70 minutes to answer all of the questions:

Twenty-five multiple choice and true/false, and they are now worth 2 points each for a total of 50 points.

Just as in the quizzes some of the multiple choice questions may have more than one answer. So read each answer carefully and check all of those that you think applies.

five Short paragraph terminology definitions (five to seven sentences).  You will define each term and provide a an example from class material that contextualizes your definition.  Each answer is worth 10 points for a total of fifty points.

Exam total: 100 points.
