In this topic you will explore and study the experiences of Latinxs during the civil rights era. Starting with the period of WWII to understand the conditions that led to the struggle for civil rights in the United States, we will explore the role that the cold war play during this era and the different ideologies that shaped this decade.

After successful completing of this unit, you will be able to:

Explain the role of the Cold War in the framing of the ideologies that informed the struggles of the 1960s.
