Course Description

This Canvas course is part of the course HIT 77B. HIT 77B is the Professional Practice Experience (PPE) for your HIT program capstone project. In HIT 77B, You are required to complete 120 hours of hands-on training to pass the course.

While some students may secure a face-to-face traditional PPE that evolves into a longer period of service, most students will divide the 120 hours into three, 40-hour segments. The usual division is the following:

Face-to-face traditional PPE - 40 hours
Remote and/or onsite project - 40 hours
Virtual PPE - 40 hours

After you complete your three segments, you are required to access the survey in the last section of this Canvas course. For each of your virtual assignments, your will be required to complete 1-2 projects in addition to the discussion forum. After the discussion, you have an opportunity to ask questions. Each of your assignments will; be reviewed by an industry professional, faculty from another program, or your own instructor.
